Nintendo will kill emulators as fast as possible and in a good timing (like Pokemon Day), even if they destroy their reputation.

This is the same to the Smash thing back in October/November last year, where they even try to cover it up again (Last time with Mario Party 3 on NSO, this time with Pokémon Legends: Z-A).

I bet you forgot about that. Because I did.

Keep in mind that Sony is gonna want to keep their reputation, since their reputation is want to be kept well, but if they don’t have to worry, they start to kill emulators as well. Also, the latest hardware from Nintendo (Switch) is emulated perfectly (for some games) already, while the PS4 is still hard to emulate as of 18 of February, 2024, let alone a PS5.

But yeah, this is really bad. REALLY BAD. We have to be extra lucky to say ‘For now‘.

This is really bad. Steam does not help at all, even making it worse at times.

But, we really can’t do anything right now. Like nothing. Disks is now a way to download games now, the game is not even on the disk, at all.

This is going to be in the hands of the companies and it is not good to go that way.
